The Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award is started in Year 10. The scheme is very popular with students at Hampton High and it aims to encourage service to the community, development of practical skills, participation in physical activity, and a spirit of adventure. All sections of the award require a regular commitment outside of normal lesson time.  Regular sessions are on a Wednesday after school for an hour and a half. Students will also be required to commit additional personal hours to ensure they complete the four different sections of the Bronze award.
