Uk Youth Parliament Hustings

1st March 2017 12:30 - 14:30

On Wednesday 1st March, Richmond borough youth council will be holding a school council conference.

Students from across the borough have applied to become members of the UK Youth Parliament. As part of their election campaign, the Richmond Youth Participation Lead, Ben Skelton, will be holding a hustings session at the Council Chamber York House, in Richmond, between 12.30pm and 14.30pm to prepare students for their upcoming elections.

We are proud that a Year 9 student from Hampton High has completed the programme of activities and will be taking part in this process. In order to support her, we will be taking a group of student council members along to take part in the electoral process and gain valuable leadership experience.
