Appointment of The Head of School

We are pleased to announce that Mrs Rebecca Poole has been appointed as Head  of School at Hampton High from September 2017.  Mrs Poole is currently Senior Deputy Headteacher at Teddington School and has been involved in the work the new trust, RWST, has been doing at the school.  Mrs Poole will be able to work with Ms Hughes in the summer term to plan for September and ensure a smooth handover.

Mrs Poole wrote that, 'On a previous visit to Hampton High, I had been impressed with the warmth of the students and the staff. The interview day itself only served to reinforce this further and I feel very excited and privileged to have been offered the opportunity to lead Hampton High. The collective passion and commitment of everyone I encountered on the day shone through and leaves me in no doubt at all that the school has a firm foundation on which to build future success. I am looking forward to working closely with staff, students, parents, governors and trustees to ensure that Hampton High sits proudly at the heart of the local community.'

We wish Mrs Poole every success and look forward to working with her in her new role.
