Budding Year 8 dancers take part in the ISSP day at Orleans Park School

On Wednesday 5th May, three of our budding Year 8 dancers Maria Mapes, Jess Wallis and Kasey Ward took part in the ISSP day at Orleans Park School. Along with other students from schools in Richmond borough, the girls were treated to a free workshop with members of Rambert Dance School. They then worked to create a choreographic dance piece which was performed at the end of the day to teachers, parents and friends.

Although challenging, the girls said the experience was fun and a great opportunity to learn new dance skills, as well as make new friends. They are really looking forward to taking part in more dance opportunities in the future.
