Careers visit to Metro Bank - London

On Wednesday 5th July I went with 11 other students in Year 10 to Metro Bank in Holborn with Mr Wells and Mr Kennedy. It was a really exciting day. I especially liked that everything we did I will need to do in my life when I am older. The CV workshop and mock interviews were great fun as well as useful. I was given a mock interview by a member of staff from Metro Bank called Rocky. His real job is interviewing young people to work at Metro Bank, so I know the feedback he gave me is exactly what I should do to get a job with Metro Bank in the future, if that is what I would like to do.

We had a surprise visit from Metro Bank CEO Craig Donaldson who answered questions about how to start your own business, he also talked about how the bank’s name was chosen and how much he enjoys his job.
